In other news, Juanita Pauline "Polly" Boner actually did die today or a few days ago or a week ago. In her old age, I'm hoping Polly learned to handle her unfortunate handle with good humor and cheer. This is assuming Polly Boner did not die by suicide or, more unfortunately, a rabid/frothing boner. Either of which are no laughing matter.
This is stupid.
This is also taking longer than it should. In the "Labels for this post" box directly below where I'm typing it helpfully suggests some labels I might use, such as "scooters", "vacation", and "fall". If only my blogger bloggs were bloggy enough to be as interesting as any of those three radical topics. I WISH I was passionate enough about scooters and/or bloggering to blurg about them. I've never had much passion for scooters (or anything).
Bloogging on my own page is so much harder than on Kris's. It's also much less fun, much less rewarding, and much more of a reason to be ashamed of myself.
Philthadelphia is philthy as usual. Spiro and I passed by an abandoned house that was surrounded it's own personal garbage moat. Its a few houses down from his. We call it the garbage house. It's good to be back in Thrilladelphia.
you blog better than me
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging out with my mom and Courtney. We're talking about Jeff Bridges and his inherent Americanness. Courtney vomited and passed out a lot last night; she was very sick, and it was very scary. Poor Courtney. Jack told me she might have an "overexcited vagus nerve," which I thought had something to do with the vagina, but it doesn't. I think I would hate to have the life of a doctor.
ReplyDeleteNiels is being awfully nice today; it makes me feel very happy because he's the nicest guy when he's nice, and it makes me feel nervous because he is somewhat of an unpredictable person.
I very much like Andy's blog. I blogged about it in Andy's blog last night, but I lost everything because Courtney started snorting and passing out. Poor Courtney. This is my favorite part of the obituary section: "She is remembered by her son who's name she could never remember, this was not due to memory deterioration typical of old age; her memory was exceptional, in fact. Her son, unfortunately, was not." I could read that in any great book anywhere, maybe by Mark Twain or Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. I was sincerely impressed by it. I like the combination of obituary and blog. It's perfect for Andy. Oh! Thanks also for making her 69 when she died. I know you did that for my benefit.
Niels is telling us a story about how Colin puked all over his dashboard one time. I like talking about vomit.
The part Kris quoted was also my favorite part of the obituary part.
